Dhawal Buaria, Ph.D.      

Dhawal is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering department at Texas Tech. His research focuses on understanding and modeling large-scale fluid dynamical phenomena as fundamentally relevant for engineering and geophysical applications. Notably, by combining theory with cutting-edge numerical simulations and deep learning techniques, his work seeks to decipher universal properties of fully turbulent flows and associated mixing and transport phenomena.
